What is in the library?

The Resource Library has thousands of books, curriculum, games, manipulatives and even consumable supplies! We are always adding more.

How long can I check out materials?

The initial check out is 3 weeks. You can renew your items once online, after that you can request additional renewals. As long as there are no holds you can keep renewing! We have multiple copies of many of our curriculum and books.

How do I view or check out materials?

You will access the library through the link on your Subscriber Home page. Login with your e-mail and password, browse or search for what you need, and add it to your cart.

How do I receive my books and materials?

Our drop off / pick up location is in Poulsbo. Simply show up at the designated time & location to pick up and return materials. They will be bagged and labeled with your name for quick pick up.

Will there be more pick up and drop off locations in the future?

YES! We will be adding more pick up/drop off locations throughout the year.

Will the library always be online?

Yes and No. You will always have the ability to view and check out online, however, we will move into a physical location asap. We have already outgrown our current space!

Who can access the Library?

Our online library is open to homeschooling families in Kitsap. All you have to do is subscribe!

How much is it to subscribe?

$10 a month or $100 for the year.

What happens if I lose or damage something?

Our materials are all assessed and priced at market value as they are inventoried. A vast majority are second hand, so if you lose or damage anything you will have 30 days to replace it with another of similar condition or request that we replace it for you at your expense.

Are you excepting curriculum donations?

Yes! We are accepting curriculum, books, games, and educational materials. Please contact us to schedule a pick up or drop off time.

How do I volunteer?

Simply fill out our ARISE VOLUNTEER FORM and someone will get back to you asap.

Is there a benefit to volunteering?

We have 5 FREE subscriptions on hold for our first 5 volunteers. Volunteers also get first pick of new materials and priority on holds. More benefits as we grow!

Can I support Arise financially?

Yes. Arise is a 501c3 (non-profit) that operates through the generosity of people like you.

Right now our biggest need is a physical location to house our expanding library.
